LifeGroups@Seoul Union Church

  LifeGroups

Are you looking for ways to connect with others, grow in your
relationship with God and make a difference in the community?

  LifeGroups may be for you!

What is a Life Group? A Life Group consists of a group of believers
who come together to form significant relationships with one another.
A Life Group is a place where believers can experience accountability,
belonging , care and spiritual growth .

Why Life Groups? We want to build relationships that lead people
into a deeper commitment to Christ. Jesus modeled a relational ministry
that functioned in the context of a small group. A Life Group is a way
for us to intentionally respond to Jesus' command to " love one another ".
It is our belief that a Christian cannot consistently grow into Christlikeness
unless they are connected with other members of the local church.
This connection occurs in Life Groups.

Vision: To become a group of Spirit-indwelt people who have intentional
growing relationships with the Lord and each other, and who use those
relationships to help fulfill Christ's mission for the church.

  Why Join a Life Group?
In Life Groups, we desire to build strong ties of love with one another
that result in a deeper relationship with Christ. A Life Group will give
you the opportunity to meet people and build friendships with other
members of SUCh. It will also give you the opportunity to get plugged
into the life of the church as you serve with your Life Group.

  Life Group Activities
Life Groups meet regularly for fellowship, Bible studies, prayer,
share their life stories, care for one another and engage in community service.

  Duration of Life Group Meetings
Groups meet once or twice a month during weekends. Groups are
“semester based” running from September through the end of November.
Sing-ups are held during the promotion month for each semester.

  Model of Life Groups
Each group consist of 8-9 people (single and married). New people
are added to groups of less than 9 and new groups are formed as necessary.

  Leadership for Life Groups

Group members choose their leaders. Leadership may rotate
  from month to month.

  Commitment to Life Groups
We hope you would consider joining a Life Group.
