3. Class Descriptions

The High School Sunday School class will be using a DVD/Bible Study Series this year called Liquid to study various Old and New Testament books such as Ephesians, Phillipians and Proverbs. Each week the class will use one episode from the DVD series, based on a Bible passage, to launch activities and discussion using the Liquid materials. Interspersed with this will be opportunities for the High School class to participate in the Worship service with the Praise Team, Drama performances and the end of the year Youth Service.

"Live, laugh, learn!" That's what we'll be doing in the Middle School Sunday School class this year. We'll be studying the Bible and how it relates to our daily lives and all the issues, big and small, that challenge us each day. We'll enjoy games, memorization, video, music and snacks too! It's a great place to make friends, be yourself, talk about what matters and to grow in your faith.

The younger classes from grades 2-4 will continue with lessons from last year using the Biblezone Live materials from Cokesbury as their base.
Each lesson includes a variety of introductory options, a core lesson/message from the bible, and a choice of activities and crafts to keep the little guys learning. Each kit also comes with a music CD to add some great tunes to keep them moving and plenty of cool props to catch the eye of any young learner. Of course, the teachers will also be on the lookout for other great ideas to pack each session with learning and fun!

JK to Grade 1

We kick start each lesson with a fun time of worship. We do lots of action songs which the kids love and this is a good way for kids at this age to express their love to God. Our lesson is based on the Sunday school kits from Abingdon's Biblezone LIVE . The theme of our lessons for this season is "In The Wilderness". We will cover stories such as Jesus in the wilderness, John the Baptist and even the battle at Jericho. Each lesson will include bible story time, activities time and prayers time. As long as your kids are born in or before year 2004, we would love to have them join us!

FUNDAMENTALS OF FAITH

John MacArthur’s Fundamentals of the Faith is designed to not only give new believers a solid foundation in their understanding of the faith, but also to disciple older saints and even guide those new to exploring Christianity. This study examines what the church believes at the very heart of the faith and ranges in topics from the Bible to Jesus Christ to Spiritual gifts. Grounded in the Scriptures, the study provides the foundations of theological doctrine that lead to spiritual growth and maturity in living for Christ.

THE SOULCARE EXPERIENCE

Exploding with insights into Spiritual Formation, and the real battle in the human soul.  The SoulCare Experience, a 12-lesson DVD course that offers a practical model for understanding how God changes us from self-obsessed to God-obsessed people, and how in our relationships we can cooperate with this process.  You can enter into life-transforming intimacy with the Trinity and then reproduce Trinitarian-like relationships with each other that spiritually form us into the likeness of Christ.
