The High School Sunday School class will be using a DVD/Bible Study Series this year called Liquid to study various Old and New Testament books such as Ephesians, Phillipians and Proverbs. Each week the class will use one episode from the DVD series, based on a Bible passage, to launch activities and discussion using the Liquid materials. Interspersed with this will be opportunities for the High School class to participate in the Worship service with the Praise Team, Drama performances and the end of the year Youth Service. The High School class will be led by Joon Myong.
"Live, laugh, learn!" That's what we'll be doing in the Middle School Girls' Sunday School class this year. We'll be studying the Bible and how it relates to our daily lives and all the issues, big and small, that challenge us each day. We'll enjoy games, memorization, video, music and snacks too! It's a great place to make friends, be yourself, talk about what matters and to grow in your faith.
After some fun topical Bible studies at the start of this year, the Middle School Boys Sunday school class will be exploring the exciting world of Christian music videos. Each Sunday we will be looking at the lyrics of a popular contemporary Christian song, finding verses and stories in the Bible that might have inspired the songwriter, and watching the music video. These videos and the passages we will study together are very encouraging and can strengthen the faith of all of us as we deal with the daily struggles of life in middle school.
The younger classes from grades 2-4 will continue with lessons from last year using the Biblezone Live materials from Cokesbury as their base. Each lesson includes a variety of introductory options, a core lesson/message from the bible, and a choice of activities and crafts to keep the little guys learning. Each kit also comes with a music CD to add some great tunes to keep them moving and plenty of cool props to catch the eye of any young learner. Of course, the teachers will also be on the lookout for other great ideas to pack each session with learning and fun!
JK to Grade 1
We kick start each lesson with a fun time of worship. We do lots of action songs which the kids love and this is a good way for kids at this age to express their love to God. Our lesson is based on the Sunday school kits from Abingdon's Biblezone LIVE . The theme of our lessons for this season is "In The Wilderness". We will cover stories such as Jesus in the wilderness, John the Baptist and even the battle at Jericho. Each lesson will include bible story time, activities time and prayers time. As long as your kids are born in or before year 2004, we would love to have them join us!

| THE MIND OF CHRIST |
| GOAL: God's goal is for believers to die to self and allow Christ to live in us in such a way that when others meet us, they come face-to-face with Him. This life-changing study teaches participants to allow God to gain glory through their transformed lives. |
This
in-depth discipleship study introduces believers to a lifelong
process through which God will renew their minds and their
lives to reflect the image of Christ. Based on Philippians
2:5, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in
Christ Jesus,” the study shows you how Jesus’
mind worked and how the Holy Spirit can teach you to think
as He did. The viewer guide is designed for participants to
complete as they view the DVDs in an eight-session conference.
Benefits:
Participants will be guided to:
• Understand and begin applying a three-stage process through which God will establish a Christlike mind in them.
• Experience the reality of freedom from the bondage of sin and the past.
• Understand and develop 17 virtues of the mind of Christ.
• Follow Christ’s example in servanthood.
• Reflect Christ’s perfect humanity in their attitudes, emotions, and relationships.
• Examine Christ’s holiness and love and let God make them holy and teach them to love with Christlike love.
• Surrender to Christ’s absolute lordship in their lives.

JESUS IN THE GOSPELS |
|
For Young Adults |
|
Taught by Bryn & Kerrie Villers.
JESUS IN THE GOSPELS invites believers to look at Jesus in each of the four Gospels and ask the question, "Who is the Jesus that you see?" This study will deepen discipleship through better understanding of the biblical texts and their message.
Two questions frame this study: "Who is the Jesus you bring with you to this study?" and "Who is the Jesus you take with you from this study?" JESUS IN THE GOSPELS takes participants on a journey from one question to the other.
While distinct in format and approach, this Bible study builds on the foundation and carries forward the philosophy and ideals that shaped the DISCIPLES—high-commitment, long-term, disciplined study that fosters community and builds toward transformation.
JESUS IN THE GOSPELS focuses on the portraits of Jesus found in the four Gospels--Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The word inused in the title signals that this study takes an approach different from the familiar "life and teaching of Jesus" approach of reading stories and accounts of what Jesus said and did in order to draw conclusions about their meaning and about who Jesus was. This study looks at the way each Gospel writer presents events and teachings and at the picture of Jesus that emerges in each of the Gospels.

WHEN GOD'S PEOPLE PRAY
|
Prayer can change lives and circumstances like nothing else can. What are the keys that unlock its power, that turn prayer from a mere activity into a vital link with God and all his resources? In When God’s People Pray, Jim Cymbala, pastor of Brooklyn Tabernacle, shows you and your small group truths about prayer that God has used to turn his own church from a tiny, struggling inner-city congregation into a vital, thriving community of believers who pray with passion, focus, and faith.
Featuring teachings by Jim Cymbala and video interviews of ordinary people who have received extraordinary answers to their prayers, these six sessions will help you pray with new confidence. Discover the power of God to restore hope, ignite faith, work miracles, and change lives—through prayer.
